Streacom ST-LH6 Additional CPU Cooling Kit for DB4
The ST-LH6 is required if you want to cool a CPU up to 110W. It does this by utilising two of the DB4’s side panels.
- Increases the cooling capacity of the DB4 from 65W to 110W
- Utilises a total of 6 heatpipes
- Dissipates the heat via two side panels
The DB4 is a monolithic design masterpiece consisting of a sturdy basic framework surrounded by four removable outer plates of extruded aluminium with sand-blasted surface. These splendid aluminium panels look not only ingenious, the intelligent design also corresponds to a convection surface and thus follows their function as a heat sink for the processor installed inside. For this purpose, the latter is connected to an external plate by means of a flexibly lockable universal CPU cooler with three of the four original copper heatpipes for heat dissipation, and is also contacted by a further LH6 heatpipe kit with three additional heatpipes with a second outer plate. The effective cooling capacity can be increased as from 65 watts to 110 watts.

“Outstanding service, engagement and post-sales support. Over and above obligations.”
“Investing over £1,000 in a product from a company from which you have not previously purchased anything is a dubious proposition, particularly when your technical know-how isn’t what it used to be. I’ve moved from “build it yourself”, knowing everything there is to know to just, “just make it work ... well”.
The Mambo Silent Media Centre arrived a little late, but inly because Quiet PC took the initiative to ask if I wanted to wait for the Haswell chipset to launch for enhanced efficiency. Had they not have done this, I wouldn’t have known that my PC was under specified from day 1. The build quality of the machine is outstanding. Additionally, they include all disks and boxes, allowing me to hack away at it at a later date. Further, on posing technical and licensing questions to them post-sales, they were more than happy to help - including when my questions were not directly product related.
